For New Year's Eve, my friends and I went to Changi beach near the airport (carpark 5 if you really want to be specific) and set up some tents and barbequed our way into the new year. I didn't take any pictures because someone else did. They'll be on Facebook I guess. I did work extra hours and didn't leave until about 9pm, so I was pretty tired. When I get tired, I sort of get giddy. Someone was like....why are you laughing by yourself? Well...I thought that spining things around my finger and it flying off was funny...at that point in time. Nevermind!!!!!
So then I get home after a failed attempt to watch the sunrise on the first day of the year
- I was facing the wrong direction
- It was too cloudy to see the sun until about 7 am anyways.
- I wanted to sleep after this failed attempt but everyone (to whom I had been listening to snore for about two hours) wouldn't let me. JERKS!!!!! haha j/k
I woke up when my mommy called me to say happy new year at 1pm. I woke up at 5 pm and managed to go to Parkway Parade's for some Bak Kuh Mee, Char Siew Pau and Shrimp Chee Cheong Fun.
Bak Kuh Mee Stall
Bak Kuh Mee (smacks lips)
Prawn (Shrimp) Chee Cheong Fun
Char Siew Pau always makes any year start fabulously! But 3/5 because Tanjong Rhu Pau has my heart.
Felix got the Apollo Cockle Fried Kway Teo which apparently is quite famous and already has a food award that will last until 2010.
(not so) Impressive (looking). Felix finished 70% of this. It's too greasy for me.
The queue (line), that is.
OK, well I wasn't going to include this picture, but I felt bad. So here are the chicken feet. Sigh. Don't worry, I haven't tried it yet, cutie patootie.
And today is a Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, last night I had a good chat with Eden while eating a box of Korean strawberries. I was so happy about the strawberries that I bragged like crazy and made all my friends jealous. Because I'm like that. And that I love strawberries!!
