Well it's 5:49 PM right now on a Sunday afternoon. My studio has been partitioned into two sides: the clean clothes side and the laundry to be done side. Hopefully that pile will disappear in the next two days.
Yesterday I just went over to pick up my painting, paints and piano book from Sam, got a fantastic massage and then cooked some shin ramyun (remembering all the times I made Paul make this for me - good memories! haha) for the Underworld & Underworld Evolution movie night. I think the boys are at it again for Star Wars - but only II & III so I'm going to wait until someone has the patience to sit with me through all six. Not at one go, but at least spread over strategic points where I cannot become too restless.
I'm going for another massage and facial in two weeks because I'm really upset with my skin right now, and this massage was much overdue. Does anyone want to join? haha
I am munching on some Korean ("MaeHyang") strawberries right now. I don't know what happens if you eat too many strawberries...hold on let me check...oh great "overdose strawberries" on a Google search yields: an alcoholic
Strawberry Overdose recipe.
I am also doing all my (neglected) facial stuff now. I'm still chugging along with my Clarisonic, which I think I'm like...the only person in Singapore with one. You know? Singaporeans love to be unique and have things that others don't have...and flaunt it? At least, this is my impression of most of them (considering how many designer things I have seen...though not even close to Dubai, from what I've heard). So...I feel like that this behavior is sort of rubbed off on me and that I'm inclined to say "yes, I have a Clarisonic and it may be the only one in Singapore". I'm probably wrong, of course. This awesome product is bound to be in at least one other household.
I also have heat rash on my forehead...ever since I arrived in Singapore. Let's see how to get rid of this awful nuisance (Clarisonic, md skincare alpha beta peel nor constant moisturization by La Roche Posay have fixed this...my facialist [Cindy Lim at Beautiquest at Adelphi]) tells me that I need to do a mask and it should get rid of the problem pronto(!) but I am going to do some more research right now...and posting whatever I find just because it may be useful to someone else.
Wikipedia says:
"Miliaria occurs when the sweat gland ducts get plugged due to dead skin cells or bacteria such as Staphylococcus epidermidis,[1] a common bacterium that occurs on the skin which is also associated with acne. The trapped sweat leads to irritation (prickling), itching and to a rash of very small blisters, usually in a localized area of the skin. [...]
Miliaria crystallina
The most superficial obstruction (with the most mild clinical presentation), is known as miliaria crystallina; instead of a rash the patient presents with multiple tiny blister-like lesions that look like beads of perspiration and essentially cause no symptoms."
Great. All the other websites tell me nothing about how to get rid of it other than antibiotics and calamine lotion (when mine don't itch and are the "1-2 mm diameter) ones.
Tinky also introduced me to an awesome link: www.surfthechannel.com. If you ever miss your show or just want to catch up on some shows [that show in Singapore one-two seasons later or not at all].
I'm caught up on Desperate Housewives, Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother and currently working on Dirty, Sexy, Money. Hooray!

PS This week will be pretty busy because I have to write a business plan of sorts for the project in Saudi. More about this later.
