Amirah's Grill around Kandahar St. (around Arab St.)

The restaurant is quite cozy (the Italian restaurant-feel but with Middle Eastern things).

The tenderloin kebab (upgraded from just regular beef kebab) and chicken are SO DELICIOUS. It's about S$15-20 for the kebabs, but once in a while you have to self-indulge and eat juicy, succulent meats. Here is what Jack had - Mixed Kebab (tenderloin, chicken & minced lamb) [I just had chicken, but you get the idea].

For me, the rice was extremely dry (and on the outside, hard). Definitely go for the potatoes.

The hummus dip is always delicious! Confession: we sort of couldn't help ourselves before taking a picture, so we covered the parts in which we first dug.

.

Oh yes. AND THE STRAWBERRY JUICE (I had two... ^.^) Jack had the Iced Mint Tea.

You can also hookah (sheesha(?)) here, but only outside. Because neither Jack nor I am fond of smoking, we ran inside to the AC ^.^ area.
